Piedmont closes regular season in fashion on Senior Night, gears up for postseason Piedmont couldn’t have picked a better time to be playing its best basketball of the season.
The Wildcats put everything together Tuesday night against Shawnee on senior night at Collett Fieldhouse.
It was a perfect finish to the regular season for head coach Ryan Wagner and his team. The Wildcats blasted Shawnee 72-52 as four different players scored in double figures.
Piedmont, which will enter the Class 4A Area I, District 7 playoffs having won its last three games, closes the regular season at 9-11.
“I can’t think of a better way for our seniors to go out,” Wagner said. “It was the most positive and enjoyable senior night that I’ve ever been apart of.
