Tiffany Tolbert, was crowned Miss Piedmont Saturday night in competition with 13 other contestants.
Tolbert, a nursing student at Tulsa Community College, formerly held crowns of Miss Tulsa and Miss Tulsa State Fair. In 2007 and again in 2008, she was First Runner Up in the Miss Oklahoma Pageant.
She began her pageant career by competing in the Miss Outstanding Teen competitions. Aly Akers was first runner up, in the Miss Piedmont competition, Second Runner Up was Brittany Bisel and Hailey Holloway was third runner up. Emily Oulsey was fourth runner up.
Elise Francel, was crowned Miss Piedmont Outstanding teen. This was a repeat win for Francel, who captured the same title in 2007.
Each contestant competed in several events throughout the night, starting with an interview before the judges prior to the pageant, a public question and answer session, swimwear, talent and evening wear.
Tolbert, Bisel and Oulsey all sang for their talent portions of the show. Francel performed on the drums for her talent. Akers performed a baton toss routine and Holloway played a song on the piano.
Tolbert and Francel will compete in their respective state pageants in Tulsa in July.
