Wheat harvest begins with strong yield, good weight

The 2010 wheat harvest began in the area June 1, and already, the expectation is that this will be a better harvest than last year’s, with higher grain yields. However, while Oklahoma has a lot of grain, the worldwide market is seeing a large amount of wheat, which may bring the yield as low as $3 per bushel.
