DUCK Week begins with assembly, basketball

Staff Writer

This year’s annual DUCK Week charity even kicked off with their annual multi-school assembly Monday morning and continued through the week starting with a Student-Teacher basketball game at the middle school on Tuesday and one at the high school on Wednesday.  The event will close out tomorrow night with a talent show at the high school, multiple times throughout the day.
The charity goes to help out Piedmont Elementary fifth grader Colby Henrichs, who has been stricken with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia.  He is finishing up the three year treatment for the disease, which has a severe monetary and emotional cost for him and his family.
